Please join the LWVOC Natural Resource Committee at our September meeting to hear graphic designer and author Rick Kilby discuss preserving the natural and historic resources of Florida.
His first book, "Finding the Fountain of Youth: Ponce de León and Florida's Magical Waters" was released by University Press of Florida in May 2013. Kilby has lectured about his book at different locations throughout the state including Stetson University's Celebration campus, the Museum of Florida History, and the prestigious Miami International Book Fair. In February 2014, his book received a Florida Book Award in the Visual Arts category.
Mr. Kilby will have copies of this incredible book for purchase at the event.
